Kit for carrying out measurements in ventilation ducts: the testo 440 air velocity and IAQ measuring instrument and the vane probe (Ø 16 mm) are safely stowed away in the case. So you can get down to work straight away!
Use the testo 440 air velocity and IAQ measuring instrument in combination with high-quality probes to measure and store all air velocity and IAQ parameters (please order probes separately). Up to 3 probes can be connected simultaneously: a Bluetooth probe, a wired probe and a temperature probe with type K thermocouple connector. Automatic probe detection and clearly structured measurement menus guarantee simple operation and will make your day-to-day work easier.
Use the fixed cable to connect the vane probe to the measuring instrument. The probe is equipped with a telescope, which can be extended to a maximum length of 0.85 m. The immersion depth is easy to read off thanks to the scaling on the telescope.
The clearly structured measurement menu for volume flow makes the measuring instrument intuitive to operate. The volume flow is precisely calculated thanks to convenient input of the size and geometry of the duct cross-section. Timed and multi-point mean calculation, average volume flow, current reading and min./max. values are displayed in the measuring instrument.
Intelligent calibration concept
You will get exceptionally accurate measurement results with the digital probe, because the measuring instrument makes measurement uncertainty a thing of the past. You only need to send the probe in for calibration – so the measuring instrument remains in continuous use.
Areas of application for the vane probe
Ventilation ducts: Use the vane probe to measure air velocity in ventilation ducts with reliability. Benefit from fast calculation of the volume flow: in the “volume flow” measurement menu of the compatible measuring instrument (please order separately), configure the dimensions and geometry of the duct cross-section – the measuring instrument shows you the volume flow straight away.

Vane probe with Bluetooth including temperature sensor – features
The readings of the vane probe are transmitted to your measuring instrument via Bluetooth, up to a distance of 20 m.
The clearly structured measurement menu for volume flow enables the measuring instrument to be operated intuitively. The volume flow is precisely calculated thanks to convenient input of the size and geometry of the duct cross-section. Timed and multi-point mean calculation, average volume flow, current reading and min./max. values are displayed in the measuring instrument.
Particularly useful: press the button on the vane probe to operate the measuring instrument. For example, to store individual readings for multi-point mean calculation or to start and stop measurement series for mean calculation over time.
Wireless and space-saving: more applications, less equipment
Endlessly versatile: a universal handle can be connected to all probe heads – so you can master more applications using less equipment and save space. The Bluetooth handle makes it more convenient to carry out your measurement and guarantees less cable clutter in the case.
Or order the cable handle to connect testo probe heads. This is an advantage if Bluetooth signals are not permitted. If the vane needs to be replaced in the distant future, you can change the probe head.
If required, you can also fit the vane probe with the extendable telescope with 90° angle and, if necessary, the telescope extension (both can be ordered separately; in combination 2 m long). This makes it easy to measure at ceiling outlets.
Intelligent calibration concept
You will get exceptionally accurate measurement results with the digital vane probe, because the measuring instrument makes measurement uncertainty a thing of the past. You only need to send the probe head in for calibration – so the measuring instrument remains in continuous use.
Areas of application for the vane probe with Bluetooth
Air/ceiling outlets: Use the vane probe to determine air velocity and volume flow at air outlets. During loop-pattern scanning of the grille’s cross section, the air velocity values are integrated and averaged across a large area of 100 mm. As a result, precise measurement results are achieved with the loop measurement.
For measurements at ceiling outlets: the extendable telescope (1.0 m long) with easy-to-read scaling and 90° angle is easy to attach to the vane probe. The 90° angle ensures that the probe is positioned correctly under the ceiling. For high ceilings, you can also use the telescope extension, attaining a total length of 2 metres (please order the extendable telescope and telescope extension separately).
Plate outlets, ventilation grilles and swirl outlets: For convenient, accurate measurements at plate outlets and ventilation grilles, we recommend using the vane probe with the testovent 417 funnel set (please order separately). This guarantees simple testing of incoming/outgoing air – such as in the controlled ventilation of living spaces.
If you add in the volume flow straightener (please order separately), an impressively high level of precision can be achieved when carrying out measurements at swirl outlets.

Testo 410-2 vane anemometer, including protective cap, wrist strap, calibration protocol and batteries
Testo 410-2 Pocket Sized Vane Anemometer, measures air velocity, humidity and air temperature.
With its handy format, pocket sized vane anemometer testo 410-2 is extremely suitable for fast check measurements at ventilation grilles and outdoors. With the permanently installed vane (diameter 30 mm), you can even measure low air velocities from 0.4 m/s to 20 m/s.
The anemometer is equipped with Testo humidity sensor featuring long-term stability and with an NTC temperature sensor with a measuring range of -10 to +50 °C for inspecting the air conditions. You can therefore use this to measure air temperature and humidity reliably. The anemometer testo 410-2 displays other parameters at the touch of a button: the dew point and wet bulb temperature as well as the Beaufort wind force and the wind chill temperature, which is the temperature perceived by a person due to wind-related cooling.
The anemometer offers useful accessories and functions
We have equipped the vane anemometer with a clip-on protective cap. This offers reliable protection if you are not using testo 410-2 straight away. During the measurement you can use the fitted wrist strap, which prevents the anemometer from falling.
Take a look at the useful functions offered by the anemometer testo 410-2:
Single-point averaging: calculation of the mean air velocity, for example at ventilation grilles (air outlets)
Hold function: enables the current measurement data relating to air velocity, humidity and air temperature to be recorded and compared with each other
Max/min values: displays the minimum or maximum values since the vane anemometer was last switched on or reset
Illuminated display: read off your readings quickly and easily, even if visibility is poor
Selectable units: air velocity: m/s, km/h, fpm, mph, kts and Beaufort; air temperature: °C, °F and wind chill; humidity: relative humidity, wet bulb and dew point temperature
