Walchandnagar Instrumentation division is an ISO 9001: 2008 certified Precision Instrumentation division of Walchandnagar Industries limited (WIL). The division was initially set up to manufacture mechanical alarm time pieces in technical collaboration with Louis Schwab of Switzerland. Over a period of time it has moved over to manufacturing precision instruments. The Instrumentation Division culture centres around Quality, Precision and Time.
Currently, the division manufactures and supplies an economical range of mechanical precision instruments and components to number of industries in India and abroad under the TIWAC brand name. It also makes Sector Mechanisms for dash board instruments, precision components for electrical meters, timers, electronic gadgets, etc. It plans to expand its product portfolio and venture into electronic process control instruments.
Some of the industrial applications where Walchandnagar instruments are used are Power Projects, Chemical Plants, Cement Plants, Sugar Plants, Fertilizer Plants, Oil and Gas Sector, Steel Plants, Compressors, Ship Building Industry, Paper Mills, Textile Industry, Earth Moving Equipment, Automobile Sector, Dashboard Equipment, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment, Refineries, CNG Kits etc.
